These are works made through adobe XD. I am currently learning to use XD, so far there are a few works available, but i expect to further sharpen my skill with XD.
The first work is a redesign of a local website. I chose a local art supply store that had a recent owner change. The website had little to to show on its main page with a confusing navigational bar. The store had nothing in it, and the about us was uninspiring and news was lacking appeal and interest.
I added a side panel with options on what to know about the store with different images . The front of the shop from the original website is kept and contact info and social media icons placed at the bottom.
The about us page was small, but used hexagonal shapes on their page which did not relate to anything about them. I placed the image of the town it is located since it is a local store. The addition of a orange backdrop adds color to the page.
There was no store page to go on instead I went with a categorization of items that an art supply store would sell. The addition of a drop down bar at the bottom shows there are more product that can be purchased.
The news page was uninteresting and lacked information about important events about their store. I added a scroll bar in the way of a social media feed. The calendar shows days where the store has special offers, closed days, or events. there is also the addition of town news for local events and information about the town they reside in.
This is a event website with the main theme of a Corgi Jamboree. The image is custom made with fun elements of the font choice shows this is an enjoyable event.
The light blue color adds a relaxed feeling to the viewer. The light blue backdrop adds more depth to the pages. The paws on the side puts more visual interest to the page, the opacity is lowered to not impose on the text and images. The dog at the top is another custom image that indicates the page the viewer is on.
This is the design of the event website that would be seen on a phone. text information is shortened to main information and placed in center of the screen page. Images excluding custom images are removed to keep the pages clean, but instead simple color shapes are put in their place. Blue bars on the side add color and interest to the pages.
This is an app called SPOILER, with the idea to prevent spoilers to be seen for movies and tv shows.
Additional elements such as changing online status and changing settings are added
